Description: The goals established for the children who attend Meadowbrook Montessori are to encourage a positive attitude toward learning: "Love of Learning" - Montessori students develop an intense love of learning and almost "thirst" for more. "Solid Self Esteem" - Montessori students develop self discipline through guidance of the teachers, who set the example for them and through the freedoms and limitations found in the classroom. The Montessori philosophy also encourages the development of initiative, persistence and concentration. Meadowbrook Montessori serves children of all faiths, ages 18 months to 6 years old.

I would not at all recommend sending you child to this school if they are under the age of 5. Long story short, they are not properly equipped culturally, academically, staff wise or anything else. They have all of the Montessori things in the classroom, so it looks legitimate, but don't let it fool you.And the Director offended us a number of times, many of which were talking to us like we were less than intelligent. We had our daughter there and discovered that there were a number of things going on at the school that they were not telling us about. The 3 year olds also spend the afternoon in the infant room which is not acceptable. It caused our child to revert in her potty training. There is no flexibility in when the children can move on to a new activity in the class room. We were told math was for the 4 year olds. There is a drop off line that you are required to use in the morning. Our daughter actually still wants her parents to walk her in, but we were told we were asking for "special arrangements" to walk her in. The teacher literally blocked the door and wouldnt allow my husband to enter. There are 2 spanish speaking "assistants" in the class who do not get to teach the children. My daughter knew more spanish when she started then after being there for a year. They do not have the space to accomodate the number of children they continue to enroll. The staff has very high turnover. Many times we showed up to new people interacting with our child, to which we were never introduced. In general I would never recommend this "school" to anyone. They do not represent Montessori well at all.
