Description: Welcome to Little Bee Daycare where we believe in learning through play everyday!!!! Our program focuses on the whole child, their emotional, physical, and cognitive developmental needs. Children get to learn social skills, math, and early literacy skills all while having fun exploring, discovering, and imagining! Our indoor classroom features two large playrooms. The first has a large open art center and dramatic play!! In our second play room children can explore our music center and block center!! We also have a large outdoor classroom as well with ample opportunities to explore and learn through all their senses!!! Our outdoor classroom includes a mud kitchen, water table, art center, playground, dramatic play and more. Each day is filled with free play, ample outdoor time, USDA meals and snacks, circle time, and more. Our program includes preschool at no additional cost. For all ages we use our curriculum to guide our monthly themes, our interactive circle time with games and songs, and our daily art projects. For our 3 & 4 year old students we have additional preschool activities. Our 3 year old students use Khan Academy an incredible learning app, while our 4 year old students use Waterford Upstart a proven online preschool each day. Both students will work in our monthly journals that focus on early math and literacy skills. Our curriculum follows Utah Core Standards for Preschool but does it in a way that takes no more than 15-30 minutes a day and is filled with games, art, and more. Our staff at Little Bee Daycare is highly trained with each receiving more than 100 hours of training. Certifications include: Child Development Associate, Food Handlers and Serve Safe Certification, CPR and First Aid Certified, and National Administrator Credential. Our program is also proud to be an All Means All Program. This means our program makes it a priority making sure every child belongs. We do this by promoting an diverse environment with our materials representing people of different cultures, races, and abilities. Both providers also have Special Needs Endorsements, this means each provider has taken over 40 hours of specialized training in caring for children of special needs. We have experience in caring for children with Autism, ADHD, supplemental oxygen, speech delays, feeding tubes, and food allergies. Lastly we know what a key part family engagement is in a child care setting because of that we offer the following family engagement opportunities; family parties including a visit from Santa, parent teacher conferences, daily photos and communication via our app, child development screenings, and more.
