About the Provider

Montgomery Ridge Intermediate School is located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in beautiful Maryville, Tennessee. It is one of two intermediate schools in Maryville City Schools, serving approximately 800 students, grades 4-7. In 2000, Maryville Intermediate School opened for all fifth and sixth graders in Maryville City Schools. MIS Explorers were proud to be a part of the MCS community for 12 years! In 2010, MCS began investigating the possibility of building an additional school and/or reorganizing the grades of its existing schools. The intermediate program became the centerpiece of the school system's comprehensive grade reconfiguration plan to be implemented in the 2012 school year. As a part of this district-wide initiatitive, MIS was "reopened" and reconfigured as one of two intermediate schools in our district in 2012. Our name is inspired by our location on Montgomery Lane and by the beautiful view of the mountains from the ridge on which our school is situated.

Common questions

The answers people ask us for most often.

How do I contact a provider I found here?

In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

No. ChildcareCenter only provides information, so enrolment questions, tuition questions and job enquiries need to go to the provider directly using the contact details on their listing. We cannot forward them and we cannot share contact details a provider has not published.

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
