I WISH I was leaving a 5 star review and it's unfortunate that it has come down to this in hopes of getting a response from the Director/owner of the facility. We enrolled our 4 year old into the pre-k program a couple of months before he actually started attending and paid the $75 enrollment fee to ensure a spot for him. Everything started out fine, the 1st week was a little bit of adjustment for new kids starting but the staff always had a smile and were super friendly. The 2nd week however, we were sent a message that they needed to change their hours due to staffing ( my schedule is pretty flexible, no big deal) then they were only offering pre-k 3 days a week, again no big deal, the other day would just be "day care" instead of preschool. BUT then, we receive a text message on the weekend stating that there was a parent who reported positive for COVID so the facility would be closing for 1 week, a couple of days go by and we receive another message that the facility was cancelling it's pre-k program and we would need to find alternative care ASAP and that they would be working with a couple of the other facilities in town to try and place kids. We paid for 1 month of pre-k in advance and our child only went for 2 weeks. I emailed the director and was told that she is trying to figure out a refund after speaking with her accountant but since she bills 4 weeks at a time a refund was unlikely.. I responded that we paid for the 4 weeks in advance and 2 weeks of pre-k was completed before cancelling the program with hardly any notice, half of our money back is deserved. Especially since it is no fault of our own. It's now been over 1 month and we can't get a call back and have left messages. I sent messages thru their direct app and have since been remove from being able to access. This was a very stressful and frustrating time that I feel could have been handled better.
