Description: Maple School, in partnership with our students, parents, and community, promotes academic excellence with high expectations and student achievement through standards-based instruction. It was named a Title 1 Academic Achievement Award (AAA) School in 2011 by the California Department of Education. This program annually recognizes high-poverty schools that are demonstrating success in ensuring that all students are making significant progress toward reaching proficiency on California's academic content standards. These standards define the knowledge, concepts, and skills students are expected to acquire at each grade level.
