Description: Manhattan Beach Nursery School is a parent participation co-operative preschool since 1950. The school aims to provide a social environment that supports children's psycho-social development, an emotional environment that is supportive, sympathetic and loving for children beginning the process of separation and a child-centered, child-led environment that recognizes and respects children's innate curiosity and creativity and provides a safe and supportive environment for children to take the physical, emotional, and cognitive risks that encourage their growth.
