Mamie's is a great place. My son attended and always left cared for and happy. Mary is excellent! She keeps the kids busy with activities, education and healthy meals! If I could give her more than 5 stars I would!
I highly recommend Mamie's Daycare! Mary is amazing! While my kids were in her care, I was a Program Manager of an In-Home Care-giving Company and Mary was very understanding if I was a little late picking up my kids due to the craziness of my job. She gives you more than enough notice for when she needs to close, lets you know if other kiddos were sick and with what symptoms so that you can watch out for it, has a spacious residence with lots of activities for the kiddos to do and recognizes the little's Birthdays! My kids loved going to Mary's and miss her so much! She is also within busing range of the Plover-Whiting School which was a plus for us!
I had my 3 year old enrolled with Mary. We were VERY satisfied with her services she provided to our child. She did crafts, sorting, letters, numbers and shapes with the children. We never had to worry about our child in her care. Our child was very comfortable in her daycare setting. We relocated, otherwise we would still be enrolled. We highly recommend Mary and her daycare.
My daughter only attended here for a few months and I am very happy she never has to return. She only was there a few hours one day a week. Mary took my daughter without my permission to a personal doctor appointment. Yes, Mary took her and another child to a doctor appointment. I never left a car seat for her, but Mary claimed she has extra. She was never able to provide me with an expiration date or if it was installed correctly. She is not regulated by the state to transport children nor does she have the proper vehicle alarm. I picked up my daughter twice in a row with a dirty diaper that was not freshly done. The last time it happened she said she was out of wipes, even though this was something she provided. Another time she asked if her unlicensed fiancé could watch my daughter while she ran errands. I absolutely was not comfortable with this and picked her up early. I made a formal complaint with the state about the doctor visit and then received a nasty message from Mary. I went to childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov and found multiple violations on her state record. This only provides the last 2 years. I am appalled at the violations and cannot believe she has not been shut down yet. If you care for the safety of your child, please never send your child here!!
