I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Where to begin…My 2 ½ year old son and my 7-month-old daughter have been with Mary since September, after my maternity leave. I’m not sure there is a word to describe how pleased I have been with her care. Every mommy knows what it’s like to go back to work after that time off and Mary helped make that transition feel so natural for me. When I had to go back after my son I would cry on the way to work and worry all day. With Mary I felt assured that my new baby girl was in the best hands. My son comes home every day and tells me how much fun he has playing, going for walks, and doing activities. He brings home projects and is so excited to tell us about them and put them on the fridge to display. For holidays Mary has little parties for the kids and always provides nutritional meals. My husband and I would recommend Mary 100%. She is so thorough! She is the one the identified that my baby had Thrush, without her educating me on it I may not have identified her fussiness until it got worse. We think Mary is a great person and always has the kids’ best interest at heart.

Mamie's is a great place. My son attended and always left cared for and happy. Mary is excellent! She keeps the kids busy with activities, education and healthy meals! If I could give her more than 5 stars I would!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I highly recommend Mamie's Daycare! Mary is amazing! While my kids were in her care, I was a Program Manager of an In-Home Care-giving Company and Mary was very understanding if I was a little late picking up my kids due to the craziness of my job. She gives you more than enough notice for when she needs to close, lets you know if other kiddos were sick and with what symptoms so that you can watch out for it, has a spacious residence with lots of activities for the kiddos to do and recognizes the little's Birthdays! My kids loved going to Mary's and miss her so much! She is also within busing range of the Plover-Whiting School which was a plus for us!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I had my 3 year old enrolled with Mary. We were VERY satisfied with her services she provided to our child. She did crafts, sorting, letters, numbers and shapes with the children. We never had to worry about our child in her care. Our child was very comfortable in her daycare setting. We relocated, otherwise we would still be enrolled. We highly recommend Mary and her daycare.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My daughter only attended here for a few months and I am very happy she never has to return. She only was there a few hours one day a week. Mary took my daughter without my permission to a personal doctor appointment. Yes, Mary took her and another child to a doctor appointment. I never left a car seat for her, but Mary claimed she has extra. She was never able to provide me with an expiration date or if it was installed correctly. She is not regulated by the state to transport children nor does she have the proper vehicle alarm. I picked up my daughter twice in a row with a dirty diaper that was not freshly done. The last time it happened she said she was out of wipes, even though this was something she provided. Another time she asked if her unlicensed fiancé could watch my daughter while she ran errands. I absolutely was not comfortable with this and picked her up early. I made a formal complaint with the state about the doctor visit and then received a nasty message from Mary. I went to childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov and found multiple violations on her state record. This only provides the last 2 years. I am appalled at the violations and cannot believe she has not been shut down yet. If you care for the safety of your child, please never send your child here!!

I am shocked to be seeing this website with this mother slandering me and my business. I'm sad that there are people out there that have the audacity to try to ruin a person's character and business. Here are the facts: *I did transport the child to the clinic without permission. *My fiance whom is my emergency backup provider(qualified to look after children by the state)did accompany me on the trip to the clinic. *I did not have a vehicle alarm *I was not suppose to transport because of I didn't have an alarm. *I did have a car seat that was not expired and placed as well as secured the right way per the requirements in the seat. I did inform the mom of the transportation when she came to pick up her daughter. I wasn't hiding it and wouldn't hide it. Every provider whether group center or in home daycare has a record/records.I have been doing daycare for 20 years and still in business. Everything else that she has stated in this review is simply just her words trying to put me out of business because she was upset with me. Quite frankly she is slandering my character/business with her statements where there were no findings. Go ahead and review the statement and my reply and you can make a judgement or decision based on opinions of ONE parent in 20 years. All I ask is make sure that you know for sure that her faulty statements are in fact the truth. Because you are basing your decision of beliefs off of someone of the general public that someone knows nothing about. If you have any questions at all about anything, please go ahead and contact me directly.
