Child development is a process that all children go through starting at birth. This process involves learning and mastering many skills that are referred to as developmental milestones. A developmental milestone is a skill that a child acquires within a specific time frame. Children will need to develop some skills before he/she can develop new skills. For example, children must first learn to crawl and to stand before they are able to walk. Each milestone that a child acquires builds on the last milestone developed. At Lullaby Inn Learning Center we strive to ensure all of our children reach these milestones. We understand that children develop at different rates and it is important to us that they reach certain milestones before they are pushed to reach a new level. Studies have shown that your child’s environment has an effect on their development. The environment can either improve or harm your child’s ability to meet certain milestones. This is why it is so important that your child is in a program that nurtures and helps them to grow at an individual rate. At Lullaby Inn Learning Center we have gone above and beyond to provide your child with a curriculum that strives to nurture them and help them to reach their milestones.
