Description: Our school is located on Route 87, approximately six miles north of Montoursville. Loyalsock Valley is one of two elementary schools in the Montoursville Area School District; which also includes Montoursville Area High School (grades 9-12) and C.E. McCall Middle School (grades 5-8).
Loyalsock Valley houses approximately 280 students in grades K through 4. As a school community we work together with you to support children in their social/emotional growth and development as well as their academic pursuits. Our school is a nurturing environment that supports the development of the entire child and helps to guide them on a journey of life-long learning.
Literacy and math are the focal points of our elementary curriculum. The Harcourt Trophies language arts series and Everyday Mathematics provide the core of our curriculum. It our privilege to work with you as a part of your family's educational journey.
