Description: The need for quality day care for children has been recognized by parents, teachers, and leaders of the Salem community. We are responding by offering our love, support, and resources to uphold the principles by which this center was brought about. It is our goal to provide quality care in a setting that nurtures a child’s natural curiosity. It is also our purpose to meet high standards of safety, to provide an atmosphere where each child is loved and valued; and, last, to encourage each child to develop in those areas that prepare a child for a life long of learning. Our philosophy is developmental in nature. Loving Care Day Care stresses the importance of each child developing in all areas (social-emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual), and a wide range of opportunities for learning is provided at the center to encourage a child to grow at a pace that is unique to the individual. Because we are a church-sponsored center, Loving Care endeavors to create a loving atmosphere where each child learns to experience and appreciate the wonders of God’s world. They enjoy Bible stories, singing songs that delight the heart of a child, and learning through our faith based curriculum. Prayers of thanks are shared before each meal.
