I wish I could give this child care 0 zeros, this is the WORST childcare I’ve had. The entire place constantly smells like bleach, they literally clean using bleach with the kids right there beside them. They would take the kids to chuck e cheese and wouldn’t tell us, we asked them to start giving us notices for the field trip, which is legally what they are required to do, they told my child to not tell us that they went one time, my child told us and we told them again to give a notice so if we have to pick up our child we know where they will be, they didn’t seem to care. I was working one day and received a text from one of the employees stating that my kid wasn’t listening well that day and they said they even told my child they would spank them to get them to listen and said that my child still didn’t listen, I never gave them permission to talk to my child like that, as a parent I should be able to trust my provider, I could not trust them with my child. I honestly don’t know how they are still open with all of the stuff that goes on there. The entire staff, including the owner, is very disrespectful and unprofessional. They told us there was a curriculum they followed, my child didn’t learn anything there, they even had my kid trace their name incorrectly because they didn’t know how to spell it even though it was on all of the paper work I signed to enroll my kid.
Owner is unprofessional, does not communicate well, does not allow staff to openly communicate with parents, and does not keep a consistent staff. Owner has no learning plan or activities for children. Owner encourages devices to keep the children quiet. Owner also disciplines children without parental consent. Owner allows children to be in hot atmosphere in the summer as the building does not have central air. I would not recommend this childcare. Daycare is not licensed by the state.
