I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I love this daycare center. They are good with the kids and have helped me so much. They keep good records and a clean facility. The employees are very friendly. There was only one time I had an issue back in 2019 with my older child and they listened to my concern and addressed it quickly and politely.

I always thought I would be a stay-at-home mom, but when my daughter turned 2, I decided to go back to work. I was scared to put her in daycare, but later realized it was one of the best decisions I made. Lotsa Tots became her home away from home and every teacher gave her more love and care that I could ask for. They helped me potty-train her and she LOVES going to school everyday. She wakes up early every morning wanting to go to school. I recommend Lotsa Tots to everyone I can. Thank you so much!!

I have had three children attend Lotsa Tots until they were no longer able to attend due to age. I currently have my 10 year old attend when he is off track. My experiences have been nothing but grand. The teachers love my children, they tease with them, they bring them treats, they teach and have taught them wonderful things to prepare them for Kindergarten. Jen is a wonderful teacher and I was amazed at what my son knew before he attended kindergarten. There are 6 staff members that have been at this facility since the first time I enrolled my first child (now 18 years old). My son is always bringing home crafts which he made that day, he has ample time playing out on the playground, which is a nice safe facility. He is often asking me to make the food that they make at Daycare, so in essence I have had to ask for recipes. The staff always treat me with respect and give smiles as I pick my son up. I am Stunned by the reviews that I have just read, as my experiences have NEVER been anything but "A" plus. If you are ever in question, you need to ask the state about this facility. They have their ratings posted on a bulletin board as you enter the doors. They always receive Top Notch ratings - as far as I can remember they have never received anything under an A rating. People...do you realize what is out there? This place is friendly, CLEAN!!!, loving, and DOES have a curriculum, just ask and they will show you. As far as the new staff members, I believe it is very impressive (at the rate I am sure they get paid) that 6 people have been at this facility in the 18 years of my children attending this Day Care. I LOVE THIS DAYCARE!! You would be crazy to not check it out. See for yourself!!

Loving Mom May 26, 2011

I ove this daycare.  I was so sad to read the reviews that people are having issues.  My son loves going to "school"  he is in the 2 year old class that has received an above complaint.  Every teacher and the director are great to work with and a joy to be around.  I knew nothing or and no one at the daycare before my son started there.  I was very nervious leaving him there but after about the first week I knew we were in the right place.  To the mom who is worried about the food that they provide, I am not sure what you expect when you have to feed 100+ kids.  They are always very good about feeding your child the food you prepare if you do not want to feed them the food that is prepared at daycare.  I am not sure that you are being realistic either have you ever checked into the menu at any other daycare just FYI they are all the same.  Bottom line I LOVE THIS DAYCARE.

I have a 2 + child going to this daycare for 1 year now. I had to put him out of desperation as there was no other place accepting kids at that time. I have had these issues with this daycare-

1. There teachers change frequently and the director never informs me when a new teacher takes over the class. The teachers that have joined recently are not very good and often dont communicate with the parents. My child had 5 new teachers over a 1 year period.

2. The teachers have their own kids attending the same daycare and I have often seen them playing with thier kids and ignoring the pthers in the class. This also causes a problem with discipline as the teachers child rarely gets reprimanded for misbehaving with other kids.

3. The kids watch atleast 3 hours of TV in the day. Mornings before lunch and then before going for afternoon nap. then in the evening from 3:30-4:00 to the time they leave and if yourkid leaves at 530-600 Pm , he has laready watched 3 hours of TV.

4. They really have no curriculum. Everyday they supposedly do an activity which I have noticed a few  times being done by the teacher during the kids naptime. SO your child doesn't learn anything.

5. The teacher to student ratio is never real and often more than allowed. Everyday there are more than 13 students in the class where as less than 7 is allowed for 2 year old class and only 1:12 in 3 year old class. The students get very less attention and also difficult to discipline( not that thjis daycare has any discipline). My child has come back home quite often with bites and injuries which the teachers have not reported or noticed.

6. they serve a lot of pre cooked frozen food.

7. On many occassions the Director has been very rude to me, which I judge from the other complain is a common problem. I wonder how nasty she is with kids when she is so bad to the parents.

I will move my child out as soon as I can fiind an opening in a daycare nearby. Out of desperation and lack of options I still have to send my kiddo to this mass torture.

concerned Dec 21, 2010

Im concerned about the Professionalism portrayed by the Director of this Facility. Her presence towards Adults and Parents is both Defensive and unprofessional should any situation not be to her liking. The manner in which she conducts her Daycare has proven to me that if a child is not picture perfect and w/o childhood problems she will not be willing to work with those children that may need some additional attention to set them at ease and make them feel comfortable. On several ocassions, my grandson returned home complaining of incidents that had happened to him while in the care of this facility. A physical incident and another verbal incident to which he was victim to, and there was apparently no supervision during these occurences nor was there any corrective action taken by the staff. However, if this same child exibits frustration and depression due to missing his mother initially, instead of consoling the child or maybe working a little closer with the child to help him make necessary adjustments and a smooth transition to being in a strange environment; the staff immediately goes on the defensive and makes statements to the mother like "We don't feel that this child will be able to remain here" due to his constant crying. No attempts were made by the daycare staff to help resolve this child's issues, but rather Very Quick to find reasons to terminate his childcare.
It is my true belief that this Director intentionally tried to provoke this child's mother in order to try and force her to voluntarily terminate his care from this facility. This, in my mind is truly Unprofessional and should not be accepted either by parents or the State Child Services Division
