Everything the last review said was absolutely true. I worked there for as long as I could tolerate it and although this may sound like a made-up story, it is unfortunately very honest. How the last review mentioned they always have more kids than they are allowed by law, it's completely true. I had to pretend a child that couldn't speak yet was mine during an inspection and had to learn the baby's birthday to memorize it in case I was asked questions about this child so that the inspector would believe that I brought "my child" to work with me and that it wasn't an extra kid at the daycare. I'm sure this isn't the only time she has done this! Putting her employees and the daycare children at risk in a situation like that should be criminal. Of course I was too scared to lose my job so I stupidly complied. Also, to get her state-funded meals for the children, we would have to make up imaginary vegetables that the children never even ate that day just to meet the health guidelines for the meals in order to keep the funding. Everything this daycare does is for show and behind the scenes is an entirely different story so I just warn the parents that take their children to this daycare to make sure and do the research 1st-ask questions, ask for proof of anything u have suspicions of..etc..They have no concern for the actual child and family attending the daycare, it is all just smoke and mirrors. It is truly sad and I pray that other daycares are more honest.
My child attended this daycare for 3 months periodically (9-11 months of age)I would NEVER come back. Several bad experiences lead me to put my child in other care, starting with 2 diagnosed cases of hand foot and mouth, the staff never mentioned it, and my child has never had it again since removed from this daycare. The fact that they have 4 dogs living at the daycare that are free to roam in with the children at all times and constantly bark and bite at you when you come in. Staff repeatedly disobeyed my request that my 10 month old not be given peanut butter. I requested that they not use bleach on my childs bottle they smelled so bad of bleach that I couldn't bring myself to use it I would have to rewash it each day. The final straw was when I showed up to pick up my child at the end of the work day to find only one person in the play room who sent me back through the house to find my child who was "napping" thru 2 closed doors and a commercial fan to find my child screaming hysterically in a crib, for who knows how long because when I returned to the play room there was no one to be found. We never returned. This is a poorly run daycare most of the time with more then the allowed 12 kids and staff that doesn't respect the parents, with no training and no desire to actually do anything with the kids.
