Description: Fulbright Elementary is a multicultural school which provides an exciting nurturing learning environment for Pre-K through fifth grade students. At Fulbright, you and your family will experience a higher standard of learning. Our staff is committed to the growth of our students. Students have access to the latest technology software through a 28-station computer lab with SMART board. Each classroom features a digital projector and SMART board. Many classrooms have access to ELMOs.
Security cameras are found throughout the school - inside and out. Fulbright's building design is set in modular pods of four classrooms with common work areas for teachers, and Fulbright has gone green with auto flush bathroom commodes and faucets.
Fulbright also boasts K-2 gifted enrichment, a 3-5 gifted program, Spring Training for grades 3-5 ACTAAP enrichment, classroom computers, complete special education team, art program, spelling bee, cheerleaders, student council, Joy Choir, student ambassadors, after school care provided on site, Math Flash, and a media center supporting Accelerated Reader.
The teachers, support staff, and volunteers at Fulbright have received many nominations and awards including LRSD Teacher of the Year and National Board Certification.
Fulbright is also supported by its PTA, which sponsors a number of events throughout the year, including Grandparents Day, Book Fair, Field Day, 5th Grade Celebration, Kindergarten Social, Fall Carnival, and Teacher Appreciation days to name a few.
