Preschool children are creative and inquisitive. Our staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in our students. The purpose of this program is to help children discover the joy of learning through experiences that encourage and motivate their interests and curiosity. At our center, the teachers' role is to support the children as they develop and construct their own individual understanding of the world through their work and play. Our center is a Virginia State Licensed Facility. We welcome all children regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, or creed.

My children have attended Little Log Cabin for years. I feel comfortable leaving them with the team of teachers at the school. They are the same teachers that were there 6 years ago when we first started going. It is hard to find a place that does not have any teacher turnover... so, that really says something about how the people that work there feel about the place. All the teachers seem to know the name of every kid, no matter what class or what age.
My kids never want to leave when I come to pick them up and they really learn something everyday they attend. Seriously, do not look anywhere else. Your kids will be happy and be loved at this daycare and you will have warm fuzzies knowing they are being cared for as you yourself would do it.
Did I mention all the great programs and extras? My daughter at 4 years old takes a little kids movement/gymnastics class (extra cost from outside provider) during her school day... and they have a great music teacher and music program for the most adorable family programs every year. And what a fabulous Christmas and End of the year party every year... LOVE IT!!!
