If you love your children please do not enroll them at this center. All the reviews you have read are true and I have witnessed far worse at this center. The owner and director lie, lie, lie, their discipline on the children is harsh and degrading to the children. I have seen children return from being reprimanded scarred and shaking. Is this what you want for your children. There are a lot of really good day cares in the Lansdale area save yourself and your child from a horrible experience and do not enroll at this school
I hope the other reviewers realize that this is NOT the Omaha daycare of the same name and that these reviews are wrong.
I have been an employee and a parent of a child enrolled at THIS Little Lambs Day Care for almost thirteen years and I have never seen any of these behaviors AT ALL. There is a Little Lambs Day Care in Omaha whose family of owners have had many issues with the law and have been sued for terrible financial activities and I hope future readers of THIS day care center understand that they are separate companies.
Little Lambs Lansdale has amazingly affordable rates, the cheapest in Montgomery County and we do that because we feel that our responsibility and our passion is in caring and educating children, not making more money. We work within local churches rather than purchase buildings so we can keep our rates easy on our families' budgets.
Mr McG, our music teacher, created a wonderful curriculum enrichment program for our young learners which ties directly to all of our monthly lesson concepts about letters of the alphabet, colors and shapes, counting, and character building fundamentals like sharing, patience, and good manners. I have designed a computer literacy and skills program for preschool and kindergarten age learners to help ease that transition to tech-friendly elementary school classrooms and inspire children to be health-conscious when they use devices and computers in our modern world.
Does that sound like a negligent, "lazy" program? Not to me. Take a look at our facebook, search for "Little Lambs Day Care INC Lansdale, PA" and see all of our yearly activities, our parent communications and reviews. We are in no way affiliated with the Omaha, AR company.
We have no staff turnover, as suggested in one of the posts. Our staff are college students and supervisors with degrees in education. Many have been with the company for more than 5 years, some are even children who once attended our program!
Little Lambs Day Care INC in LANSDALE, PA is a wonderful place to work and an enriching environment for young children! Don't take my word for it though, stop by and get to know us.
I do not know whom these owners think they are and putting to there description family values and Christian environment anything! Cruel! Humiliating! Outright blatant direct false accusations and threatening to make accusations if you don't pay or speak to others negativity. Do not put yourself in dealings with these people!
Too much staff turnover, unhappy staff, lack of communication between administration and staff, inconsistencies in how to treat children with behavioral issues.
Do your homework on the director and teachers. Owner Mom and Son duo team where the mom will never admit her son does anything wrong and will accuse paying customers for questioning and degrade other staff for not agreeing with him. Watch for the fakeness in the voices. Of coarse they want your money. Do not trust them they are bad people unless your happy and compliant people with them. Do not make the mistake of leaving your child under the supervision of a director or teacher who does NOT have your child's best interest in mind.
My daughter went there when she was 18 months all the way up to kindergarten and when I had my son, I started taking him there. The "education" and "curriculum" is not all that it is cracked up to be and it is nowhere close to it. This school has had a turnover of teachers as well. When I have visited the school on random occasions, I have noticed the teachers napping while the kids are playing during the afternoon recess. The quality has gone down from a 5-star school to a 1-star school rapidly. We have since switched.
Management here is honestly terrible to deal with; Poor attitudes from the staff and lazy attention to your children. If they are hard to deal with from the view point of the parent imagine what it is like to deal with for your childrens attention and how it will effect their self esteem. If you care for your children here is not the place to bring them. The owners were more worried about getting their money than resolving the problems. There is better daycare elsewhere. Skip this one!
