Description: Little Lamb Preschool is a children's ministry of Wye Bible Church. We offer love, support and an early childhood education to children 2, 3 ,4 and 5 years of age and their families. We believe that children learn best in a semi structured environment that consists of the lessons of Jesus, nurturing teachers, well rounded curriculum and hands on activities. Little Lamb Preschool prides its self on being a family oriented program that encourages family participation both during class and at our many programs throughout the year. Our open-door policy allows parents to feel secure about the care and education that their child are receiving, which in turn helps the children feel secure.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

Preschool should be more than babysitting or a Sunday School lesson. I worked there as a lead teacher in the three-year old program about 7 years ago. I found it to be disorganized physically and academically. The lessons were based each month on a Bible story and we were to teach just that for the entire month. I did not feel the children were learning anything that would have prepared them for elementary school. I began incorporating other books and skills, i.e., shapes, letters, numbers, etc., into lessons and was told by the Director/Founder to stop and that the children were not there to learn that. I had taught in another preschool before and after my year at Little Lamb at Wye Bible and raised two children of my own and knew this way of thinking was so wrong. I have heard from others parents since my experience that they felt there were wasting their money sending their children there -- they were not prepared to go to pre-K or kindergarten like their peers who attended other preschools in the area.
