Six years ago Little Genius Academy made a good and tender impact on my elder daughter Joy?s life, when she went to the LGA pre-school, from then on the beautiful school with always smiling and kind hearts of teachers and staff of the LGA always stayed on our minds, no matter where we go in the world, we kept the birthday-card from Angela and pictures of kids from LGA, Five years later we returned to the area from overseas and were very happy to find LGA still there and growing, our younger daughter Cindy fortunately became a new member / kid of Little Genius family, located at Edison(good location and fair tuition). Our Cindy becomes a ?social butterfly? at the school with caring and postitive teaching of Ms. Allissa and other, at graduation ceremony both teachers and us are with tears ? for happiness, joy and hope on the faces of kids graduating from LGA. With Agella's help and ideas we successfully registered Cindy in the best elementary school in the area. Thank LGA with our love forever! LGA is the best as we've expeirenced about 8 schools in NJ and other countries.David
My daughter Beth has attended Little Genius Academy (metuchen location) since January 2009. She began in Picasso's Palace, worked her way through Madam Curie's Corner, then Aristotle's Arena and finally through to Einstein's Auditorium. Beth's enrollment at LGA is drawing to a close, and I would like to express some of my thoughts and feeling before she leaves.
I have always said that a school is only good as the staff that runs it. And I am very impressed with the hardworking, dedicated, knowledgeable faculty and staff at LGA. Though all of the teacher's assistants that Beth has had the pleasure of encountering over the years were terrific and made a positive impact on her growth and development, there are two teachers who really stand head and shoulders above the rest.
Donna Delvescovo is a treasure in the classroom. She has the perfect blend of knowledge, energy, professionalism, and experience to make her an invaluable part of Little Genius. Though my interactions with Donna, I find her to be very dedicated, loving caring, and an extremely hard worker. As a certified teacher myself, I have had the opportunity to assess Donna's performance on both a professional and personal level, and excels at both. She is always a cheerful and professional, and has a wealth of knowledge that one can only gain by successfully doing what she does so well. She treats each child as if they were her own, with dignity, respect, and love. I couldn't ask for anything more. My daughter loves Donna as a teacher and as a person, and she loves attending LGA because of her. Little Genius Academy is very lucky to have a head teacher like Miss Donna.
Jill Wagner is an exceptional teacher as well as an administrator. Her unwavering dedication and loyalty to Little Genius is impressive. Jill's classroom is always clean, bright, colorful and inviting, the children are always well supervised, and she provides the children with a rich, stimulating, age appropriate curriculum and activities. It is very apparent to me as a parent and as a former day care center assistant director that Jill is great at what she does. She is always pleasant, insightful, organized and helpful. The fact that my daughter is head over heels in love with Jill should be glowing testimony enough! Miss JIll has definately made a positive contribution to the sucess of LGA and to the wonderful, warm, family oriented atmosphere therein.
In summary I cannot say enough good things about Miss Donna and Miss Jill, and the school that was lucky enough to employ them. I have seen my daughter blossom right before my eyes in Little Genius Academy, and there is no doubt in my mind that these two wonderful teachers had a lot to do with that. And for that, I am forever thankful.
And thank you Miss Rose for everything.
Sincerely,
I completely agree with the previous post. Although the school is clean and new the lack of qualified people working there blew my mind. I don't care how mature a highschool student is, I am sending my child to "school" not to a babysitter. My child was there for 5 months before I took my child out. My child learned nothing there except how to eat, sleep and get a diaper change. They have the daily sheet that should say what the child did that day besides the previously mentioned things and it was always blank. I asked the teacher one day what they did and why this was never filled out and her answer was she didn't have time to do that for every child every day!!! Are you kidding??? My child is now in an amazing school in another part of NJ. It took sending my child there to realise just how bad little genius is. My husband fondly called it Little Dumbass academy. Clean doesn't always mean good! Lesson learned.
They dont have qualified teachers they are high school students, and they just care bout the money not the kids
