About the Provider

Little Blessings of Anoka Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) started serving families as Elim Christian Learning Center in 1965 as a subsidiary of Elim Baptist Church in Anoka. On October 1, 2013, the learning center changed its name and was officially incorporated into the ministries of Anoka Community Mission (www.anokacommunitymission.org). We continue to strive to provide the same high quality educational and spiritual care. We feel we are an extension of your family, while supporting and serving local community and families in love. We believe the first five years of a child’s life are very important to forming the attitudes and traits which will carry with later in life. We teach Christian values where every child is upheld as a Child of God.

We are designed to provide excellence in the child’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual development for infants, toddlers and preschool for success in life. We strive to balance the demands of work and family. We believe that children learn best through their play. Our preschool program offers a kindergarten readiness standard that balance teacher directed and child initiated opportunities.

Our environment is warm and welcoming; children feel a sense of belonging. We have a low teacher to child ratio; small groups within classrooms allow for more individual attention. All our teachers are certified in Pediatric First Aid and CPR. We are monitored by a registered nurse who visits us monthly for health and safety practices. We have the protection of a security door and fenced in play areas. We also have access to a full size gymnasium where the children can play if the weather does not permit them to go outside.
