About the Provider
Welcome to our newly renovated children center. Our center is unique in that the program consists of many small group activities, multicultural enhancements, extra curricular learning opportunities, as well as extra supervision and care. Our philosophy is to provide a home like environment that lends itself to the feeling to extended family. We believe that in order for children to feel safe, secure, and nurtured, children and parents must establish a closed personals relationship with each other and with the staff. In support of this, we maintain small group sizes and high teacher-child ratios.
LACC are *Inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori and Waldorf philosophies
-We respect the children's natural curiosity. -We explore with nature and loose parts. -Our curriculum is emergent-based on the children's interest. We employ Creative curriculum -We believe positive guidance -We believe creative art and that the learning process is more important then product -We believe the balance between free exploration and teacher directed activities is important -We reinforce STEM projects-based learning activties
LACC Serve nutritious AM and PM Snacks. We also provide and Serve Lunch Daily. Our goal is to make sure the children will be nurtured both mentally and physically. We serve serve high quality food with as many organic ingredients as possible. LACC have Special Featured Spaces, Library, Big gym and outdoor nature playground.
