Description: Lil Scholars was created, when I started looking into preschools for my own children. I found that there were very few quality preschool programs that taught reading, writing, and math by an accredited/licensed teacher. I was disappointed in the size of the classes and the curriculum used. I wanted my children to learn the academic and social skills that would prepare them for kindergarten and give them that head start they would need! When I found out that other parents felt the same way, I decided to open my own preschool.

Would not ever put my children in the care of such a childish and immature group of people. A staff member named alia sent threats to my oldest daughters friend over a boy. She publicly claims to work here so for that I am leaving this review.
The Owner intentionally didn't follow state mandated numbers in the older room, because of the financial issues caused by opening the second site. The teacher told me anytime the state visited, she would put an additional teacher in the room. I believe that my daughter was moved to the older room, because of her height and they didn't think anyone would notice she wasn't 3. I saw my very happy toddler change and hate school. Crying and saying she didn't want to go to the mean school again. They used a color system, so anytime a child misbehaved they were publically shamed and had to move their color in front of the entire class. This is not reasonable discipline for a 2 1/2 year old. The Owner's reaction was one that made me feel very uncomfortable with her ability to make rationale decisions and I called 20+ daycares the next day until I was thankfully able to move her immediately out of the center. The teachers are great, it is an ownership issue and the result of a financially insecure daycare making business decisions instead of setting teachers up to run a successful classroom.
Worst daycare ever. When we demanded proof of diaper changes as they were only recorded in 3-6 hours increments (plus our babies who've never had diaper rashes had the worst ones I've ever seen), owner said to take it up with her attorney. DHS is investigating at least one of their centers currently. They refused to accomodate a child covered under the Americans with disabilities act. The center owes us $442.50 for over 2 months now with no sign of a refund in sight. I wouldn't trust these folks to watch my dogs for even an hour.
