Lewis Center Preschool

All of us at Lewis Center Preschool would like to sincerely thank you for taking the time to visit our preschool. We absolutely love working with children and it is our priority to create a safe, comfortable, and exciting environment that will assist all children in reaching their full potential through making friends, sharing, taking turns, playing, and exploring their world. Lewis Center Preschool is a place where children are encouraged to develop their own unique, individual potentials and talents. We provide a healthy, loving, child-centered environment to aid young children in all areas of development: social-emotional, cognitive, and physical. It is our goal to help young children develop a feeling of self-confidence so that they can have the freedom to be curious and creative.

It is our belief that the best assurance for the success of each child’s learning experience is through a close relationship between our teachers and our families. Parents are their child’s first and most important teachers and by working together we can help each child build a solid foundation of skills for future success in life. This partnership is designed to help parents have the opportunity to participate as classroom volunteers, attend family activities throughout the year and support the preschool in a variety of ways. We offer conferences in the fall and in the spring. Special conferences can be arranged whenever they are needed. Our staff is always willing to assist in any way possible.

Lewis Center Preschool has a professional staff of knowledgeable teachers experienced in the field of Early Childhood Education. They plan a stimulating, creative program aligned to the state content standards. They continue their professional development by participating in staff meetings, in-service training, workshops, and conferences. All staff has the required background checks as required by licensing regulations. Our teachers have been trained in: CPR, Communicable Diseases, First Aid, and Child Abuse and renew as required.
