I had my daughter enrolled in the Learning Years Academy for a little over a year. My first impressions were how clean and neat the facility is. The teacher has the same values and principals as what I was looking for: discipline; following rules and regulations; respect and knowledge for all other cultures, teaching respect to self and others, as well as highly academic program. If you are a “book worm”, just like me, and you are looking to invest into your youngster’s future by providing them with a great start in their academic life, I would recommend The Learning Years Academy in a heartbeat.
I also had interviewed a lot of schools, just a few to list: Waldorf, Capitol Christian, Country Day; and actually while on my visit at Country Day, I had the chance to peak at the pre-school class as well as their kindergarten, and my biggest and most pleasant surprise was that the Learning Years Academy has a very similar academic program and approach towards pre-scholars.
I whish that The Learning Years Academy has the ability to offer an elementary school program; I would gladly have my daughter enrolled in and have a piece of mind that she would have a great academic fundamentals along with being a respectful and creative young person.
