I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My son has been going to daycare here for a little over a year. Since starting with Ms. Ricci and his staff he has flourished in so many ways. They teach him so much and are so attentive to not only his needs but to my feelings and concerns as a parent. I am so lucky to have found such a caring, education based and loving place to send my son!!

Miss Ricci is amazing! My daughter is starting school in September & I'm really going to miss Learn n' Play. They've taught my daughter so much and they are always so attentive to her. It's hard to find good daycare, to leave your child in someone else's hands. I never had to worry at all because I knew my daughter was well taken care of at Learn n' Play. I would highly recommend this daycare. I plan on to keep sending my daughter there during the summer and school breaks.

I am an employee

I am an assistant at this daycare. I would like to reply to the last review written on July 25th. First of all, there are two sides to every story. With that said, your child did not attend for six months, she only attended for about a week and a half, so that’s a lie. Second of all, your child was a very difficult child. She cried nonstop for no obvious reasons. We tried our very best to console her but nothing done was helping. When the owner tried to reach out to you to see what we can do to help her adjust you did nothing but voice your frustration and basically told her in so many words that she was incompetent because she did not want to “hold your child” as you requested. We do not hold kids in this program, not only it’s a bad habit forming but it doesn’t make it fair for the rest of the kids as they will not receive the same treatment. Consoling a kid and holding them all the time are two different thing. As a parent myself, if my child was having a hard time adjusting to a new environment In the provider reached out to me to see how can she help I think the right thing to do would’ve been able to work with her to see what Can be done to help my child adjust. But instead You made it clear how frustrated you were because she was trying to reach out to you a few times. It is obvious in this line of work, we cannot please every parent however we try our best to take care of any kid In our care. The owner and myself cannot provide the best child care for any child unless we work with parents with difficult child. So if a parent like yourself is unwilling to work with their child providers in order to provide the best care for a child, there are very little options left for us as care providers. I just wanted to set the record straight. This is a very great childcare program and I would recommend it to anyone!

There services are terrible. They claim to be nurturing, but they are NOT. They expect toddlers to comfort themselves. They also do not assist in helping the children adjust to new environments. I wouldER not recommend it for anyone
