Description: Lake Village Learning Center’s mission is to provide an inclusive child care program, which promotes optimal development for each child and the highest quality of care to the students. We strive to establish a secure, nurturing, and educational environment for children. We want all children to have the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually by playing, exploring, and learning with others in a fun, safe and healthy atmosphere.
As a family owned and operated organization, Lake Village Learning Center welcomes positive family involvement. We encourage a parent-teacher approach where the needs of every child comes first in order to experience the benefits of excellent early childhood education and school-age programs.
Most importantly, this program does not incorporate a curriculum that enables a child to become himself, but the person God intended that child to be.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

The staff was so unorganized and rude after about 6 months of my child being there. I reported to the owner that I witnessed a staff member snatching a cookie from a toddlers hands after he mistakenly droped it on the floor. She was so nonchalant and uncaring. I withdrew my child, and later read in a news article they were investigated because they let a child escape, who was later found down the street.
I really regret that we did not have a shining experience that others have had, right out of the gate. And we are unwilling to just "see what happens", after what was seen this morning. My daughter dropped my 14 month old granddaughter off, for the 3rd morning, at approximately 6:45. Her regular teacher is not that early, and another lady is who the early drop offs stay with, until the teacher arrives. Since my granddaughter usually acclimates quickly, my daughter stuck around to see what was going on, that may cause her child to scream when she dropped her off. She watched through the window and saw the lady pick the baby up by one arm like a monkey, and plop her into a bouncer, and tell her to hush. No comfort for the crying baby, just hush. We do not pick our babies up by the arm where I am from. Of course she has been snatched out of this daycare. The fight for the registration fee of $100.00 is continuing at this time. I can't believe that is even a struggle. A small child's arm or elbow can be easily pulled out of joint like that, and an experienced walker should be allowed to play with toys, not put in a bouncer. Boo Lake Village.
My child went here for a year and we totally did not know what we had until we moved! The location is great, the activities and curriculum are easy enough for the children to do, but hard enough that they do learn. The most important thing at Lake Village is the staff! They are by far the best staff you will find around anywhere! If you can get in with them, do! You will not regret it! My child will still ask about them and wants to go visit there all the time still! We love them, they are family to us! The most wonderful group of people to trust with your children! They should get 10 stars!
