My niece has been attending this CDC for a little over 4 weeks. After touring 8 or so CDCs LMCDC looked like the best option- Sadly we were wrong. In the 4 weeks she’s been there she constantly comes home with new bloody scratches, bruises, red marks and bites. Today I picked her up early for her mom because she was BIT on the FACE- like teeth marks left and bruises appearing. I asked for the incident report but her teacher hadn’t reported it yet- I literally met her at the door as she was coming back from lunch. I think an incident like this deserves to be reported before the teacher/co-teacher leaves the building. I was told it would be filed immediately and emailed to my niece’s mother, she still had not received it by 5:30pm... the center closes at 6pm?? She called the center and was told they don’t email incident reports.. it’s like they wanted to give us the runaround. I would not recommend anyone enroll their child here, chose anywhere else but here. My niece hasn’t been the same since she started here- she was happy, bubbly, always laughing and smiling, I seriously cannot tell you the last time I saw her truly happy.
She’s been there EXACTLY 4 weeks and has 6 Incident Reports!
All I can say is horrible. Staff was the rudest and laziest I have ever seen. Lunch was junk food and it repeated every week. I had my child there for 6 weeks until I could not take it anymore. He would cry at just the thought of having to go back there. There was no education at all and they sat on the concrete gym floor for 8 hrs watching movies. This is not a child development center and it would be a long shot to even call them a daycare. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Don't let the pretty facade fool you! This facility should not be refered to as a school or child development center. It is at best a day care. The "teachers" and I use that term very loosley are lazy and unattentive to the childern. They do not engage the childern, they provide little to no actual education. During a field trip, the teachers decided to help themselves to lunch first, before helping the kids. The parents on the field trip were the ones watching and serving the childern. Pure lazy. The turn over of the teachers is unacceptable in my opinion. In a year, my child was on her 5th "teacher". They have improved on informing the parents when the teacher leaves, but the information they provide on the "dismissal" is not professional. And to top it off, the administration is unfriendly, appear aggrivated if you ask a question, cannot provide a menu for the month in a timely fashion (not that it matters b/c the food is terrible), and they charge way too much for what they provide.
