LA PETITE ACADEMY MUKILTEO (La Petite Academy Mukilteo)

<div><span style="font-family: Palatino Linotype;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">The director&nbsp;<span class="484461818-19052011">@ the Mukilteo location; </span>Lauren, is one MIS-Informed woman! After my 2.5 year old had attended this facility for a little over&nbsp;<span class="484461818-19052011">5</span> hours I got a call saying that my son needed to be picked up because he was not able to be calmed down and was real irritable.<span class="484461818-19052011"> (this did not sound like my child)</span>&nbsp;I was asking questions to find out what might be his problem and was then told "after I asked" that he had not eaten anything! Well I said this is more then likely his problem. My son has a milk protein allergy and is not able to eat most of the foods provided by La Petite,&nbsp;<span class="484461818-19052011">I expressed this to her as well she must have read it in the Agreement that I filled out. I </span>asked if I can just provide his meals on a daily basis... She told me NO!&nbsp;<span class="484461818-19052011">Saying that it was against WA state licensing laws to be allowed to do that. I told her then my son was not going to be able to attend there, she then said "good luck finding a licensed care facility that would be willing to Break laws. I called around and not to my surprise I did find a Kinder Care that is sensitive to children with food allergy's. THANK GOD for KINDER CARE!!! The one who have ALL children's needs at heart! Later that same day&nbsp;I went to La Petite to get my sons medical records from Lauren. I believe this maybe made her even more mad that I had been able to find a facility and she gave me all kinds of attitude, was bad mouthing Kinder Care, not to mention she conveniently had thrown away 1 of the papers that I would need for Kinder Care. What a RUDE woman and I couldn't be happier that my son will NOT be around this woman! Oh and I called and spoke with a rep from Washington State Department of Early Learning and was assured that Kinder Care was NOT breaking any laws!! La Petite is either Misinformed (which using Lauren's words, "makes you wonder what else is being done wrong!") or that this is just "their" policy. So as 1 mom to another... Please think twice before allowing your child at a facility that has a director with the moral fiber such as this woman. Not able to make acceptations for a child with a food allergy! WOW... NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!</span></span></span></div>
