My daughter has had a wonderful experience at Kinder Haven since starting in January. Her teachers provide her with an enjoyable learning environment that has brought about many positive changes in her attitude toward learning and her attention span. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and have provided my daughter with a loving environment that gets her excited about going to school. I'm so glad we chose Kinder Haven and would highly recommend them to anyone searching for a preschool.
My son did great when choosing Kinder Haven for my granddaughter. She loves the teachers and her friends. On her first day, there was a bright smiling face waiting to greet her. They have different events that invite parents and grandparents to the center and I enjoy that so much!
Thank you for all you do!
My daughter currently attends kinder haven daycare. She loves it she's in the two year old classroom with Miss Heidi she has learned so much since attending her speech has improved we loves the other kids. It's more like a school type environment so instead of someone just "watching" your child they actually benefit from being there. Anyone looking for a daycare I highly recommend Kinder Haven!
KinderHaven is an amazing childcare center located at Zion Lutheran Church in Williamsport. It is a ministry that the church provides to families in the community. Over the past six months amazing changes have been happening that make KinderHaven the best it has ever been. A new director, new pastoral ministry, talented teachers that love their students, and upgrades to the current classrooms have benefitted the students and their families. Programs offered at KinderHaven include all day and half day care, a preschool Enrichment curriculum, before and after school child care for school aged children and an exciting summer program. I have a 3 year old and 8 year old enrolled in KinderHaven and recommend this program to anyone looking for childcare.
My daughter has attended Kinder Haven for 2 years, and will graduate from the preschool program this year. I am so thankful that I found Kinder Haven. They accommodated what I needed in child care, which is one day during the week. And not many other centers do that. You can not go wrong with choosing Kinder Haven!
My child attends and I am beyond greatful for finding a center, that takes such great care of all their children.
We appreciate everyone's honest feedback. We are under new leadership and are going to strive to make improvements by addressing the ever changing needs of our community, starting with our current families. It's our intent to be a pillar day care center and we are going to work diligently to be just that! We look forward to serving our children, through a positive, educational, Christian environment.
Both of my grandchildren are enrolled with KinderHaven and have been for the last 3 years. They are absolutely wonderful there and do so many things for the children and the parents and the grandparents. I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience there. Perhaps it just wasn't a good fit for you or your children.
They are the greatest!!
Whereas I think one or two staff members seem to enjoy their job our experience as a whole with Kinder Haven was VERY disappointing. Miss Robin, the director, made lots of promises to us prior to our enrolling our daughter, but once we were enrolled she did not fulfill her end of the deal. Our nearly 4 year old was put in the 2 year old room because there was no room in the Pre-K room as promised. Many staff members were little more than college aged kids and acted as such. There was also very limited bible time which was something we expected. I feel sorry for all the families that are stuck there and I'm glad we got out.
