Description: Kindstart Preschool is a prepatory early learning center.
At Kindstart's early learning center our curriculum is developed in accordance with the guidelines of the NY state Core Curriculum.
Our graduating students are reading and writing wall words, numbers and small sentences. They are also able to understand and compute simple math and word problems.
Our students go on to excel in Kindergarten.
The objective of our developmental Nursery program for our 2 and 3 year olds is to open their minds and hearts to learning. To develop their social skills so they will become independent and able to grow with their peers. This nursery program prepares our students for our advanced Pre-Kindergarten program.
Our Pre-Kindergarten program for our advanced 3 and 4 year olds is developed in relation to the NY State 'CORE Curriculum'.
Our objective is to have our students reading and writing wall words and small sentences . Creating their own stories. Comprehending teacher read stories, both fictional and nonfictional. Constructing sentences and their own interpretation of these stories.
Understanding Language and Math concepts using their 'critical thinking skills.
We are always focusing on socialization where our students will learn empathy, respect , and love for their peers.
Our young scholars will learn to work independently and in small and large groups.
