The manger is very awful. The ppl who took care of my 2 kids were nice but not the man.I hate this guy I paid him cash .The women who accepted the cash said it was okay. But this guy got money from my account. I saved it for my rent now which I was gonna use to pay.I went to the bank but guess what my money was gone.So guess what I had very little money left.So would u be angry like me .I hope u will. I am not lying or making this up.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I was ask by another parent to leave a positive comment about my experience at Kidz Rock. My comment is neither for or against Kidz Rock, it's just my own personal experience. I recently pulled my 1 year old daughter from the center. I said my reason was because of the construction work on hwy 42, but I withdrew her because of the termination of the last Director. As a dedicated parent of Kidz Rock, I tried my best to hang in there, because my daughter had been going there since she was an infant but when the owner decided to get rid of the last Director without a clear explanation on why, I was extremely upset and frustrated. It was enough that everytime you turned around it was a flow of new teachers coming in and out, but here we were as parents, losing the third Director and being told to look forward to a fourth Director. To be honest, I don't know what is the problem at Kidz Rock and why they are having trouble keeping dedicated staff and directors but at that point, it was no longer a place for my daughter. Again I'm neither for or against Kidz Rock. I was very pleased with the last Director and my childs last teacher, being that my child's teacher was new also. I was just tired as a parent of the overturn. I want consistency for my daughter and Kidz Rock didn't provide that for me. I do wish them the best!!

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This is my child's last week at Kidz Rock. I really enjoyed it and my son did as well. The problem started when the owners decided to change Directors twice. He put a lot of problems that I and a lot of the other parents were having on the Director. He decided to replace her with a new director, and after just a few months decided to let the new director go. I've never felt like it was the Directors because the problems I was having was with the owners. Now I know it wasn't the Directors. The last Director was very warm and inviting. I saw a lot of changes she was making. A lot of changes we had ask of the owners in a parent meeting but the changes never happened. I decided to pull my son because I dont believe it's the Directors that are the problem, I believe it's the owners. My son's class mates have dropped tremendously since the last Director left and not just in my son's class. I've even ask for my fall registration money back since fall registration just started and I gave a proper two weeks noticed but the owners refuses. I decided to put my son in a day care near by. The Director has been in place for years and the teachers are certified. Kidz Rock only have one certified teacher.

My daughter has been attending this daycare. She really likes going and asks about her teacher constantly. She has learned a lot and has been continuing to do well. It makes me happy that she is safe and feels loved. As a parent of an only child, I am extremely picky and this is our center of choice for sure.

The review at the top has to be from the owners. There’s no false accusations about this DayCare. When I’m a real parent and I have this center numerous of opportunities to get it right. I have proof to show this from emails talking to the owner, recorded conversations. It’s a mess there and they all about money Instead of the care of a child. It’s sad. I’ve talkwd to numerous parents who had their children here at the DayCare and one actually reported them. They don’t have that many kids and it’s true that they had many teachers and directors. No one need to bash a DayCare for nothing. I can reassure you I’m a real parent and my child was a 2year there in the class room when he went through numerous of teachers that’s not certified. I’m sure the other parents and workers wouldn’t lie about this DayCare especially if they are saying the same thing I’m saying. Tried to give a review on them on Facebook but he doesn’t have that column available. If it wasn’t a bad DayCare why not accept reviews??? It is true that the cook and a former teacher curses in front the children it is true that they was in front of the DayCare when they weren’t open. Why lie let me give the dates of these things when it happened March 11, 2018: My friend checked my child out of school for Dr. appt around 12:30pm. She stated that she was able to walk in the building and they didn’t check for her ID.

May 22, 2018: Kids and the cook was sitting in front the daycare no key to get in. Over 8 kids were out there and parents were pulling up at that time. This was around 7:00am school opens at 6:30am

May 30, 2018: My friend checked my child out of school for Dr. appt around 1:15pm. She stated that she was able to walk in the building and they didn’t check for her ID.

June 8, 2018: realize that my child teacher wasn’t there and got fired. The cook told that she got fired for cursing and mishandling a child. Teacher’s first name is Tawanda

June 12, 2018: The cook cursed in front my child saying the word “damn”
No one have time to sit here and make up dates and times as a lie an this was something that was reported so sorry. These owners never ran a DayCare but not doing anything to make it better but raise the prices for to make up for all the kids they lost OWNERS PLEASE GET BETTER WITH RUNNING A DAYCARE OR FIND ANOTHER BUSINESS TO GET INTO IN THE STATE OF TEXAS NOT LOUSIANA

This daycare should definitely be given a chance. The reviews submitted contain false information. It’s such a shame that some people like to spread many untruths when they aren’t allowed to have their way. I have two children that have been attending this daycare for the past two years and admit there has been some staff changes, but in my opinion, always for the better. My kids absolutely love going to daycare and I have never experienced anything that would make me question my decision to have them there. I have met the owners and feel that they genuinely care about the well being of the children that attend the center.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I was a parent of a child that was going to this daycare. My child started last year and I had mixed feelings about this place from day 1. I shook the feeling and went forward with my child staying there. MY child lost clothes, blankets, coming home with someone's child pullups. My child’s growth there was poor, picked up bad habits instead of good ones. Since my child has been going there, one of the owners has shown their face and I think, I saw the man 3 times since my child started in 2017. We have gone through 3 directors and my child been through 7 teachers. The owner didn't do anything after there were an emergency parents meeting and nothing, it didn't get any better. It's sad when you don't know which class or which teacher is your child teacher because there are so many coming and leaving and they are not there longer than 3 months. One morning the kids were outside along with the cook waiting to get in the building. The place supposed to open at 6:30am and it was 7:00am. There is no curriculum to teach the kids. My friend went to checked my child out of school for Dr. appt, she did this three times, all three times She stated that she was able to walk in the building and they didn’t check for her ID. The cook and a teacher was fired for cursing in front the kids and recently told that the cook is still there doing the same thing. My child came home saying bad words and we don’t use that type of language. The sad part is the owners know and still keep these people around. And a parent dropping their kids for a reason and nothing has changed. Glad I pulled my child. My child is at a place where they are getting the curriculum, being potty trained and not coming home crying because they are hungry. The 10.00 fee added for supplies when you are brining your child stuff there anyway and they aren’t doing any curriculum. Prices going up but they place isn’t getting any better. They have daycares that charge the same fee and teach your kids better. I advise you all not to use this place.

In the recent weeks, I decided to pull my child from Kidz Rock. I really liked Kidz Rock at first, but the owner's kept raising the tuition. Recently, it was a $10.00 a month supply fee added to the tuition I already pay.I was told the supply fee is to offset cost the owner's are accumulating. That is ridiculous to me. My child's classroom doesn't even have a curriculum. I decided to put my child in a center where I can actually see what my money is being spent on.

Former Employee Jul 30, 2018

I was this center's third Director. I was prevented from doing my job because of the owner's who doesn't have a clue on how to run a child care center. This centers has only been opened for 2 years but have gone through 3 Directors, from 103 kids to under twenty, and 50 employees in 2017 alone. The owners cut corners when it comes to the Dept of Health, and Licensing. The outrageous prices they charge the parents goes in their pockets and zero goes into the center. The center is filthy, and unsanitary. The classrooms lack toys, furniture, books, etc. This place is a disgrace and the owners need to try a different business venture because child care isn't it!!!!

We previously used this center for beforecare and were pleased. When leadership changed, the whole atmosphere changed. Children that once had a riddle of the day in the morning along with arts and crafts and playtime were told they could sit and read a book out of their backpack or sit and watch a movie only. When I asked the director to call me about this, she was very rude and argued with me about what the beforecare kids did and then contradicted herself lying. I immediately pulled my child.

I am an employee

The owners are not aware that their business is heading for closure, The Director is very unprofessional and causes issues between employees they are basically not allowed to converse with out the Director present. Until the owners take their time and get with the employees on a one on one basis the issues will never be resolved. They are loosing good employees and parents because they will NOT address issues with the Director that Lies All Day. Sorry to say they will regret being so clueless very soon when the doors are closed. Parents are complaining ALOT.

This Day Care is very poorly managed. She is very unprofessional in her approaches and interactions with parents. The facility as a whole is very rundown. My children did not thrive here and labeled the teachers as “ mean “

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

We put both our children here because it was one of the few daycares that had openings for infants and 2 year olds on such short notice. We regretted this decision very shortly after. It was extremely hard to get in contact with the owner about issues. We were told at one point we were not allowed to talk to them on the phone. We were told we could only email. Once a very lengthy email was sent they did eventually call and discuss the issues. Neither of my children thrived here. My oldest is extremely social and progressively got less social and more anxious every time we mentioned the daycare. This is very very unlike him. The youngest seemed to only feel comfortable with their infant teacher. Everyone else seemed to make him uneasy as well. We were not able to casually pop in and check out our children. We had to knock and wait for someone to answer unless it was before 9 am or after 2 pm. The management was unprofessional when handling issues with the children. We ended up moving to another daycare after a month of it just not feeling right and it was the best decision we could have made. They are thriving and loving the new daycare! It took less then a week at the new daycare for my oldest to start acting like himself again!
