About the Provider
Kids’ Quest Learning Academy is owned and operated by two sisters whom are determined to implement their knowledge, skills, and experience in order to provide a learning academy for pre-school and school-aged children that will nurture, educate and teach skills utilized for daily activities.
Elia M. Madera is a proud graduate of the University of Texas – Pan American. She received a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Reading. Previously, Mrs. Madera enjoyed a career as an educator in the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo area for a total of 11 years. Five of those years were spent in the Pre-kinder level and she served as the Reading Intervention Instructor for 2 years. As an educator, Mrs. Madera learned of her passion to work with children in language development and pre-literacy skills that soon led her to become a licensed Assistant Speech Language Pathologist. Mrs. Madera has worked as an Assistant Speech Language Pathologist with children from 0-12 years old for the past 5 years. Mrs. Madera looks forward to applying her vast skills in early child development as the Director of Kids’ Quest Learning Academy.
Veronica M. Perez is a proud graduate from Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Biochemistry. Mrs. Perez taught Science in the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo school district for 3 years. She furthered her education and earned a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. She has provided consultative services as a Speech Language Pathologist for 7 years in local school districts, charter schools, an outpatient therapy clinic, and with the Region I – Early Childhood Intervention program. Mrs. Perez looks forward to incorporating fun and interactive pre-linguistic and language enrichment activities for the children of Kids’ Quest Learning Academy.
