Description: Kids Kampus began with a homemade table and 6 chairs. Initially licensed for 35 children with Class B status, the daycare was an immediate success. During the first few years the main focus was to ensure that all of the children entrusted to Kids Kampus would receive the best possible care, resulting in Class A status. In 1985, the owners of Kids Kampus decided to take a chance and expand. The first step was to physically expand; They purchased 3 lots and built a 4500 square foot building. The next step was to increase the number of children in attendance; Kids Kampus reopened, licensed for 98 students with attendance at full capacity.
Throughout the past 30 years Kids Kampus Learning Center has remained dedicated to their children, from the babies to the after-care students. It was this dedication that gave the owners & teachers the motivation to rebuild after hurricane Katrina. Kids Kampus Learning Center reopened after just one year (Sept. '06) with a full house! Since then Kids Kampus has continued to ensure that the children of St. Bernard Parish receive excellent care in an educational environment. Our teachers provide the care and guidance essential to the formative years. All of which are certified in both CPR and Infant CPR and participate in CDA classes (http://www.cdacouncil.org/the-cda-credential).
Kids Kampus Learning Center also understands the importance of nutrition in the development of children. We participate in the food program to ensure that the children receive well balanced meals and nutritional snacks. We also accommodate for any food allergies that a child may have. There will be a menu posted on our website for parents/guardians to review. Stay tuned for more information about the time/day of the launch of Kids Kampus Learning Center's website.

This daycare is very unprofessional. The owner allows the manager to yell and curse out parents in front of their kids. They take complaints lightly and try to sweep it under the rug or switch it to blame on the innocent child. When confronted they call the police a file bogus complaints. No child deserves to be pulled on, pushed around, pinched or hit. When a complaint is filed it should be fully investigated. As long as you pay your money they LOVE your child the minute you say you're taken them out your child is a problem. I would never recommend this daycare.
