My son attended KRK from 10 months of age to 14.5 months of age. This place wasn’t the worst, but I ultimately had to make the decision to leave after witnessing some *high risk* incidents. The straw that broke the camel’s back was witnessing a teenage “floater” feed 3 children with one spoon. In the short time that my son was at KRK, he had Covid, RSV, two colds, two stomach viruses, and pinkeye. Sometimes when dropping him off in the mornings, I noticed that their toys were crusty with food that was served the day before. Another major no no that I witnessed was my son being served a choking hazard. Luckily I arrived right as they were serving him a whole, unaltered string cheese. Again, this was a young floater. The lead teachers are great, but unfortunately can’t be there all the time. Their breaks often occur during meals and at nap time, which was very nerve wracking for me personally. For the price I was paying, I definitely did not have “peace of mind” at work. We’ve made the decision to move him to an in home daycare where he will have the same person and the same children everyday. KRK is also terrible about playing musical rooms to adjust their ratio on a day to day basis. Overall, not terrible. Just definitely not for us.
