Kid Kollege is a special place for children where early education, learning games, making new friends, and free play are blended together by our teachers into fun-filled days of discovery. We serve children ages 2 through 11 years. Kid Kollege offers preschool programs, full day care and school age programs year around. Our programs are designed to offer each child abundant opportunities for intellectual, physical and social development and are administered by trained, experienced staff in an atmosphere of guiding, teaching, listening and caring. Our teachers are always with the children, whether indoors or out. Teachers provide gentle guidance and allow the children to set their own pace of discovery through activities planned around a child-oriented theme that gives continuity, shape and direction to the individual exploration. We perform a background check on our employees each of our staff members participate in a minimum of 8 hours of state approved training on child related topics annually. Many are also certified in CPR each year and receive First Aid certificates as well.
It is our strong feeling that open communication between parents and caregivers is essential to meeting your child's needs. Although we initially assume responsibility of this communication, we ask that you tell us you and your child's ideas, concerns, likes and dislikes throughout our center/family relationship. Sharing this information will allow to make any improvements necessary to accommodate you and your child.
Our staff of handpicked, experienced child lovers sets us apart from other facilities. We have been caring for children for over 26 years. We have 18-20 staff members year 'round. Several staff have been with us for 10-24 of those years. We invite families to visit us and meet our team. We have an open door policy and encourage family involvement in our center. We have a family open house in the fall, a holiday open house in December, parent-teacher conferences with report cards and graduation ceremony including diplomas for pre-K children in the spring.
Kid Kollege was specifically designed as a child care facility. It is clean, modern and well equipped. Our creatively equipped playground and varied classroom interest centers allow children to play, exercise and stretch his/her imagination.
