2 infants had bottles in their playpens during rest time. One infant, 11 months - stated by caregiver (actually 10 months per child info form) woke and was drinking her bottle laying on her back in the play pen. The other infant is 4 months old - stated by caregiver (actually 7 months per child info form) and a bottle was laying in the play pen empty when licensing arrived. A third infant, age 4 months, was placed on the floor laying down and given a bottle during the visit. |

340:110-3-91.1(d)(5) - Play equipment, and other items, except for pacifiers, are not placed inside, above, or attached to the sides of the infant rest equipment, unless there is a medical reason documented by a licensed physician for a monitor or other device. Documentation is maintained at the facility. Mobiles may be securely attached or hung above the crib provided no part of the mobile is within reach of the child.
There are fleece and receiving blankets clipped around the 3 infant play pens being used for nap time. The blankets were attached to the sides of the infant rest equipment with binder clips. |
