Kai Ming Head Start-dr. T. Kong Lee Center

Dr. T. Kong Lee (TKL) Center is located at 950 Powell Street, in the same building as our main office. The center offers two part day classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

All our activities at TKL Center are directed to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child which is geared to their ages, interests and abilities.

The activities we plan for children, the way we organize the environment, select toys and materials, plan the daily schedule, and talk with children are all designed to a give your child a successful start in school and prepare them for kindergarten.

We adhere to the Creative Curriculum model where children learn by doing and experiencing things first-hand so they will gain independence and confidence. Kai Ming Head Start TKL Center will be your child's second home where they play while learning and learn while they are playing in the different defined learning areas of their choice.

We believe that families are a vital part of the child's growth and development so we welcome and value the support and involvement each family member can contribute to the child's easy transition from home to school and continuous learning.
