My name is Sharon Burton and I have over 30 years of experience in the Early Childcare Field. JLH opened in October 2000 in Baton Rouge Louisiana and consisted of just three classrooms; Infants/Toddlers, Two-year-old/ Three, and After Schoolers. JLH opened its doors in Texas in Jan. 2016, where we have added the Creative Curriculum and Mississippi curriculum for Infants/Toddlers through Pre-K. On May 29, 2018, JUST LIKE HOME CHILD CARE & LEARNING CENTER was certified by Texas Rising Star as a 4 STAR quality rated center.

A voluntary, quality-based childcare rating system of child care providers participating in the Texas Workforce Commission’s subsidized child care program. In January 2020 JLH relocated to Powder Springs, Ga. At JLH Learning Center, we believe in the value and uniqueness of each child we serve. Our childcare experience is designed to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment
