I have used this provider for more than 6 months
Justification for my three star review: First, Mrs. Joyner is thorough in teaching children and helping them acquire and obtain skills they may need for school. What I don't like is she speaks to parents about issues that go on with other kids in her care. She is very insensitive and told me one my children was smarter than the other in their presence. This shook me to my core and hurt my feelings deeply. One has a developmental delay and does not react as quickly as the other but is still very smart and capable. He receives help for this and is visited monthly at the daycare. She knows his struggle but doesn't seem to care just because he doesn't react when she wants him to. I don't appreciate the insensitivity when it comes to my child who struggled before birth to even be here. He doesn't deserve that.
Mrs. Joyner cared for my husband and now our 15 month old daughter. Our baby looks forward to going to school each day, and she has shown tremendous growth both socially and academically. She counted to 10 for my husband tonight and he was blown away. She can say most of the alphabet, and is beginning to recognize colors. Kudos to Mrs. Joyner and her wonderful staff!
