My child was at the center for a year. He was not without his difficulties (behavior) but we were always able to work to correct any disruptive behavior. Recently my child was able to run out of the center and through the parking lot before staff was able to get him. My child is not without fault but I was asked to not bring him back. I felt completely betrayed by the fact that the owners were not willing to work with us to help correct the behavior and accept their own fault in the situation. Point is he should never have been able to make it that far. It is disappointing that they are not able to accept their own responsibility and put all the blame on a 4 year old! And repeated phone calls to the owners go unreturned. The director is unable to make certain decision (like getting tuition returned for the remainder of the week) and has to deferre them to the owners. Good luck getting them to call!
Do not not not send your child here. When I first enrolled my kids I thought it was a very nice place. It seemed clean and the staff friendly. After my kids attened Joy for 4 days my youngest came home in underwear that did not belong to him. At first I thought he possibly had an accident and they put him in somebody else's underwear by mistake because he had his own extra pair there. The next day when I dropped them off nobody could tell me if he had an accident or where his underwear were that he had on. I was told to call back in the afternoon when his afternoon teacher and the director would be there. So when I called back I was told that none of the teachers he was with that day knew why he had on different underwear or where his underwear were. He is 4 yrs old and did not have access to other peoples underwear. Very strange that nobody knew anything about what had happened or where his underwear was. Needless to say they were taken out of there as soon as I got the call that nobody knew what happened. I was told by the daycare that if I was that upset they would refund my money that I paid for the week and that involving the police was not the solution. they also brought my son into the office and questioned him without my knowledge. I'm still handling the situation. But I would not advise anyone to send their child there.
