Description: We believe that by providing a balance of meaningful learning materials, along with positive interactions with children and teachers, we can encourage the intellectual development of children. We promote these interactions through providing an emotionally enriched environment where children feel comfortableto grow and mature. We encourage self-esteem, social skills and creativity by fostering trust and autonomy, while providing a balance of Christian values and pre-academic concepts. Our children learn through play in an environment purposefully designed for learning, discovering and social cooperation. We are a play based program. This means we focus on building social skills. We offer a balance of teacher directed and child initiated activities and learning experiences. Research shows that children who are socially developed at a young age have increased confidence, self-control and persistence. These important traits help to improve academic performance and support children in taking intellectual risks as well as the ability to make good choices and have healthy relationships as they grow older.
We begin to incorporate academics in a very developmentally appropriate way in our pre-kindergarten program. We focus on helping children feel successful before they enter their academic career. We do this by introducing work and supporting them to grasp early math, science and language concepts while working to lengthen their attention spans as well as following directions.

We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
