About the Provider
Comprehensive early intervention services, including education, health, nutrition and socialization services, to prepare children for succees in life.
Mandatory eligibility requirements are proof of age and proof of the family income for the previous 12 months.
Priority is given to children with diagnosed disabilities, homeless families, foster care, children from households receiving SSI, TANF (including those receiving TANF transitional services), and income-eligible families.
Jackson County Civic Action operates the Head Start program for Jackson County.
The Head Start program is funded by Department of Health and Human Service and the Administration for Children, Youth and Families.
