Description: Jefferson Davis Outreach Ministries is a caring Christian Ministry. We have served in Jefferson Davis County since 2001. We started with tutoring children after their summer program closed, and a call from a parent that wanted his child tutored for the fall school session. The Spirit of the Lord inspired us to set plans in order for ministry to work with children. When I questioned Him, why ministry?, He said,” a club is where people go for recreation, a ministry is where people go for help”. Encouraged by Pastor Tony Duckworth, Mt Olive Ministry, we then moved forward and got our 501(c)(3), registered with the State of Mississippi as a non-profit charity organization, and selected a board of trustee. By God’s mercy, favor with family and friends, parents, and students, we are still here. Our main focus is children and youth. JDOM after-school program Log In For Transformation (LIFT) helps students K-6 with homework, mentors youth up to 17 yrs old, and visits schools in the area sharing and encouraging student to be their best academically, socially, and spiritually.

My mom began this ministry in 2001. She is dedicated to helping children of all ages reach their full potential and have spiritual guidance. Her staff consistsof retired teachers and other dedicated individuals, who believe and know that our children are our future.
