Jackson Park Preschool

The Jackson Park Preschool opened in 1986 for 2 1/2, 3, 4, and 5 year olds. It is licensed by the State of Tennessee and committed to providing quality childcare to parents while they are working or attending school. JP Preschool maintains a 3-Star program which is the highest rating the State of Tennessee offers to childcare facilities. We have a staff of teachers who make caring for and teaching children their number one priority. Our staff has always taken pride in the fact that we continue to increase our knowledge through many hours of early childhood education and professional development. Our preschool environment is much like home. It provides a safe, secure, God-centered environment where the children learn not only about Jesus, but how to live healthy and happy lives. They also learn to work side by side in harmony with others. When they leave the preschool, they are more than prepared for kindergarten and the exciting world that awaits them outside of their preschool family. We have a preschool committee which is composed of the minister’s wife, several elders, a deacon, his wife, and the preschool director. They help to make important decisions regarding the preschool itself. We also have a parent advisory committee which gives insight and input into how we can make the preschool a better place for children. They also advise on matters such as curriculum and family activities. The Jackson Park Preschool is under the leadership of the Jackson Park Church of Christ elders.
