"In His Arms" Educational Center

I was very disappointed with the services and organization of this daycare. I stopped for a tour and walked right in the front door. The doors were wide open and there was no one at the front desk to check people in. Anyone could just walk in off the street. I stood there for about 10 minutes before someone finally came around the corner and saw me.

The folks are very friendly but did not seem to know how to properly run a business. I put my name on a waiting list in December and waited for months to hear back. When I finally called back to check on the status, they seemed confused when I referenced the "wait list" they put me on. I have a feeling they lost my information.

I called back a few times after to check on the status, and each time they told me they could not 100% confirm if they had a spot for my daughter on the requested start date but were pretty certain that they would. In addition, I always had a hard time getting someone on the phone. I left multiple messages and did not get any calls back. When I was finally able to reach the director, just 1 and 1/2 months before my daughter was due to begin, he told me they "would have openings sometime in the near future" but could not give me my requested start date. They did not know when the next availability would be. If you are thinking about this daycare, DO NOT put your name on their wait list without having a back-up plan.

I am however grateful that I found how unreliable this place was before registering my daughter there.
