Horace Mann's dual language program provides a unique opportunity for students to learn English and Spanish simultaneously by providing standards-based instruction in both languages. English and Spanish speakers are united in dual language classes, which are made up of 50% English speakers and 50% Spanish speakers. This allows both groups to benefit from exposure to native speakers. Students are then taught a highly academic curriculum in both languages.
