Description: The Center provides Child Care for children of employees and children of the community. It is a unique opportunity to have an intergenerational program for both the children and the residents of the nursing home and assisted living. According to Child Magazine studies have shown that when older people spend time with children they feel more optimistic about the future, take better care of themselves, and feel a greater sense of purpose. In turn, kids benefit from the time and nurturing older people can provide.
