Description: Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade need supervision and structure in the hours between the time school dismisses for the day and the time parents have ended their work day. Young children are at too great a risk to be left home alone for any length of time.
Hilltop UMC desires to provide just such a place for children of the Hilltop neighborhood as well as nearby elementary schools. To that end the church entered into a partnership with Lutheran Social Services to provide a safe place for children to work on homework, develop hobbies and pursue activities that interest them, all under the supervision of experienced and caring staff members.
