Happyland Daycare has been licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia since 1987. Today, 30 years later, we continue to proudly serve children ages 2 years- 6 months, through 10 years old. We are a quality early childhood program that provides a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.

I dont know how much this daycare has changed but from my experience in 2008 to 2009 they had a very abusive staff and i do not get how this place is not shut down yet. They were known to grab children by the hair and hit them with rulers when they were bad. They had a nap time and if you made a sound your foot would be slapped with a ruler. I was a bad kid, i admit, and with my adhd i was no easy task to handle. This is no lie when i say this next experience. Once i ran out the doors and they grabbed me by my hair and dragged me back inside. Another time i was thrown into a corner in timeout by my hair again. I hope this place shuts down and had i known this wasnt right at the time this place would have been shut down. F*** you to whoever owns this place and if you workers still work there i hope you get hit by a f****** mack bus.
