Handprints Academy

There is only one teacher there that I have seen that somewhat tends to and cares for the kids properly. The rest of the staff seems very careless. They don’t keep the kids properly clean throughout the day. I have picked my son up multiple times with dried up snot on his face and sand all over him. No efforts to clean him or wash his hands before snack time. No sterilizing in the daycare rooms so kids are constantly sick. No structure or curriculum going on for these kids so nothing is being taught or learned. They don’t notify parents when children have been hurt like they are supposed to. This is not a very stable environment for babies and infants because the teachers are constantly changing and kids are continuously being switched from room to room. The teachers seem to be on their own schedule so you never know when a teacher will show up . There is not s standard showtime for all teachers which is a problem because those kids are being handled and passed off to too many different teachers so there is never any consistency. I would not recommend this daycare at all.

I would not recommend handprints academy on Gilmer rd. Do not send your children to this school. My son Gio was left with handprints on his neck, petiki, and nail indentions around his throat with no report of how he was injured, then they proceeded to kick my son and daughter, out of the school due to their mistake. They are short staffed and do not properly supervise the children.Due to their lack of staff and their unprofessionalism they kicked out my son and failed to file any kind of incident report showing how my son was injured at this facility. My family and I are pressing charges. The cooperate office has done nothing to make amends or apologize for my child being injured. As a concerned mother I advise parents to take their children elsewhere for their saftey and well being.
