Description: The Groveport Madison Schools Preschool Program serves children ages 3 through 5. Our preschool classrooms primarily target children who are identified as having special needs. Eligibility for services as a Preschooler with a Disability is based on global developmental delays as well as specific categorical criteria. However, we believe that typical peers serve as models for appropriate behavior, social skills, and language/communication skills. Therefore, we include a limited number of "Peer Models" into each of our classrooms. Peer Models must be 4 years of age, toilet trained, and residents of the Groveport Madison Local School District. All peers must be screened and accepted into the program. There is a nominal monthly tuition fee of $50.00 a month for Peer Models.
